ThinkNW - Extremely (virtual) Happy Hour with 52 Limited
For decades, ThinkNW (formerly known as The Portland Advertising Federation) has been connecting Portlanders in the marketing, advertising and media industries at our community events. And we want to keep the tradition alive, so dust off your elevator pitches and power ties because The Extremely Happy Hour is back! Since virtual happy hours and online networking can be tricky, we thought we’d have a mix of content sprinkled with some opportunities to connect with others. First, we’ll start with ThinkNW’s President, Marc Moran and then meet some of our board members to talk about the future of the organization. Then we’ll meet our host, 52 Limited, to talk about creative careers and the types of opportunities that are trending. Then, we’ll do some speed networking where guests will be matched one-on-one with a different attendee every 5 minutes. So grab a drink and get ready for this Extremely Happy Hour!

For the past 115 years, the Portland Advertising Federation (PAF) has been a beacon of excellence for the city’s creative community. The oldest advertising club in the United States, PAF has diligently educated, inspired and entertained generations of Rose City creative and media leaders. The club’s annual Rosey Awards are considered one of the most difficult to win and among the country’s best. But, like many things in life, change can be good. To that end, PAF, in its current form, will cease operations on Jan. 15, 2021. In its place is ThinkNW, a best-in-class organization dedicated to the marketing community in Portland, Seattle and across the Pacific Northwest. Members include some of the world’s most important and iconic brands, creative firms, technology companies, startups and media organizations.
