Emerge Interactive is a full service Interactive Agency looking for an enthusiastic Interactive Production Designer to join our team. Our creative headquarters are located in the heart of Portland, OR.
As a Interactive Production Designer you will assist with the creation of digital designs including visual concepts, typography, iconography and info-graphics that amplify brands across the digital landscape. You will also work closely with information architects, copywriters and the production team as needed.

As a interactive production designer you will:
- Communicate your design vision clearly and confidently
- Translate abstract concepts into multi-channel brand experiences
- Develop and extend design approaches to complex problems for web, mobile and social platforms
- Work closely with the production team to ensure design systems are implemented correctly
Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in an Interactive Production Design role
- Strong creative and visual skills
- Strong skill-set in typography, interactive and mobile design
- Knowledge of strategic, conceptual and creative design patterns
- Experience working with clients, consumer audiences and internal teams
- Solid understanding of what types of experiences are made possible by current digital technologies
- Demonstrated thought leadership in at least one of the following domains: product design, commerce, mobile, branding, retail, and social media is a plus
- Examples of successfully launched projects which demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking
Personal Skills:
- Capable of handling multiple concurrent projects with various project leads and have a flexible, positive attitude
- Able to collaborate actively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
